Project Scope

Ground-Up
This new facility was developed with input from deaf and autism experts to support the unique needs of its students.
Dual Schools
The second floor houses the School for Autism, while the third floor is home to the School for the Deaf with a residential component. Shared first-floor amenities include labs, STEAM and culinary classrooms, a kitchen, offices, a cafeteria, and a multipurpose room. Classrooms feature SMARTBoards, calming areas, private restrooms, and sensory rooms.
Self-Perform
Rycon self-performed exterior framing, interior framing, drywall, and the installation of doors, frames, hardware. Also, the project received a RACP grant.
