This project consisted of renovations to meet the standards of a USP 800/797 compliant pharmacy, cleanroom, laboratory, office space, and mechanical infrastructure upgrades.
Project Scope
Lab/Cleanroom
This specialized facility for chemo and MS medications includes a pharmacy and cleanroom with antimicrobial surfaces, epoxy flooring, stainless finishes, lab hoods, and pressure-controlled areas. Second-floor upgrades added conference rooms, locker rooms, cafeteria, walk-in coolers, and high-tech storage. Key additions include compounding rooms for hazardous, TPN, high-risk, and antibiotic prep, with HEPA-filtered ceilings, RTU, and freezers.
Infrastructure
After the interior work was complete, the mechanical portion of the work included the removal of the existing RTUs to construct an addition of a two-story mechanical platform to house new boiler pumps, chillers, and AHUs.
